Happy 4th Kiru

Hello my little Kiru. This is a few months late but happy birthday baby girl. You might be the most like me. You love to stay up late and sleep in! You get mad if your sisters wake you up in the morning and some days I think you'd be happy just laying around in your footies pajama's all day :) 

Lately I've been finding you with your pj's off or your shirt off at night. When I ask you about it in the morning you tell me you are just "to hot" at night. lol. What a nut. You love to cuddle and roll around. You are usually the first one to come give me a hug when I get home and you are always up for just sitting and cuddling and reading a book. 

You love to play games too! You often ask me to play a game or do a puzzle with you. The other day we were playing Uno and you told me the Skip card was the Pause card. That you could play that card when you needed to pause the game in case you needed to pee or something. It was so cute and you were so serious about it. 

You also are the most cautious daughter so far. You still love your little balance bike that you've been riding since you were 2. Even though you have a peddle bike and you can totally ride it you like to ride your balance bike instead. 

You really seem to be loving Highlawn these days. You tell me about all your new lessons when you have them. I've watched you a few times there and you just seem to interested and intent on whatever you are working on. I know Mrs. Doolittle loves having you in her class. 

In addition to sleeping in you are a SLOW eater. Sometimes it drives me nuts. You can sit at the table for an hour and still not be done eating. You just like to live life at your own pace and relax. But that's ok my little Kiran. I love you so much and am excited to see how you grow and change this coming year.

Happy 2nd "My Isha"

Well you little nut I first want you to know I love you SO much! I often call you "my Isha". I think you coined that term one day about yourself maybe. It has stuck and it's so cute. You are a little daredevil. You love to run up and jump on me from the couch or a chair, every time the garage opens you try to dart out on your bike and go for a ride. You go back and forth from being an adrenaline junky to wanting to take care of your babies and give them dudu or practicing being a doctor.

You love wearing your little wedge heel shoes everywhere. We might have to hide them :) At night you used to want to just go to bed with no story or cuddle but lately you've wanted me to read to you and cuddle for a few minutes, then when I put you in bed you crawl right under your pillow and go to sleep.

You also make your mother anger cause you come up and hug me and say, "My Caleb". She gets jealous of all the love and attention you get from me :) You are my baby girl and my last daughter so I have to give you a little extra attention sometime.

You call your baby brother Niah and keep kissing mommies tummy and giving Niah a hug. I love your little personality and how you're so full of life and energy. You live so free and it's great. Makes me wish I was a kid again. Can't wait to spend time with you swimming this summer. Love you baby girl!

Happy 2nd Birthday Isha

Happy 2nd Birthday Isha!!  You were born on the first day of spring and remain a breath of fresh air.  We are all obsessed with you...if you get in trouble and we give you a consequence, your sisters come running to you to hug you and hold you...they don’t want you to cry.  We call you the boss baby because you are a strong girl and know what you want.  You are learning to sing your hymn...It is Well...and ask us to play your song in the car all the time.  You TALK A LOT!!!!!  Full sentences.  You like to build towers out of legos and have started putting puzzle pieces together.  Afsana didi reads knock knock jokes and you like to sit with her book and try to tell us the jokes too.  You love Daniel Tiger...that was the theme of your birthday party.  You take really good care of your babies.   You are bonding with “Nyah”  the baby in my tummy...you talk to him and cuddle him daily.  You are a happy girl and love to be with your didiya.  We all enjoy being with you.  You still sleep 12 hours at night and take a couple hour nap in the afternoon and love to eat.  You prefer savory over sweet...I learned this after you stole my breakfast a few times.  You also like spicy.   You love your Miss Alejandra soooo much and her daughter April.  Alejandra is like your second mommy dive she has taken care of you since you were a few days old.

I pray blessings over you.  I pray you know first you are loved by Jesus and how extravagant and beautiful His love is and second that all of us love you so very much and you are precious to us.  Please pursue all the gifts God has given to you and strive for the stars...don’t settle...do your best for God and His kingdom.  Life on earth is short so live fully for the Lord and give all for Him...also enjoy all He gives you and notice the beauty she puts in everything.

Also we pray this year we have the wisdom to parent and love you well, to guide you, and have patience for all your shaytani :)

Happy 4th Birthday Kiru!

Dearest Kiru,

Happy 4th birthday!  This past year you went from a toddler to a little girl.  You are conscientious, gentle, persistent, brave, intelligent, observant, and thoughtful.  One of my favorite things is how you come up and hug me or cuddle me at just the right time I needed some loving.  You tell me when you are older you will be my momma and when I come to your house you will make me chai.  You are really good with Isha and other little ones and care for them so sweetly.

You say you want to be a momma and a scientist.  Your teacher says you watch a lesson once and then you do it so perfectly and look at the teacher as saying “that’s all you got!”  You love school and are excelling.

This afternoon you brought Vandana Nani’s white eyelit little Bible while I was reading and you snuggled up and “read” your Bible.  I pray this desire and curiosity for Jesus grows leaps and bounds this year.  I pray that you specifically learn to talk to Jesus this year.

I love learning about you and how beautifully God has made you.
